Objectives of the Course It is aimed to introduce English to mechanical engineering students as a foreign language throughout their engineering life. A short history of mechanical engineering is explained to the students and the main areas covered by mechanical engineering are introduced. Students are tried to use English as a foreign language better. Basic engineering terms are taught. Turkish and English translation skills of the students are improved.
