Objectives of the Course To define and design unit operations and processes used to supply water having drinking water quality from different water resources.
Course Content Purpose of water treatment, water resources, quality parameters for drinking water, unit operations used in water treatment, design water treatment units, equalization, aeration, sedimentation, coagulation, flocculation, sand filters, disinfection, taste and odor removal, iron and manganese removal, softening
